This project is lengthy, and follows the Maquette Project.
Utilizing the maquettes produced earlier, create a series of three to five finished sculptures that relate to one another, as described in, "Series Defined". The medium or media is of your choice after consultation with the instructor. Lay out a plan of attack to assure that you can complete five pieces by semester's end. This is a big project, and you will need to be realistic as to what you can accomplish.
The scale of the works should be larger than the maquettes, permanently built, and formally finished.
Each piece will be worth 8 points, making the project value as a whole 24 points.
Periodic consultation with the instructor is mandatory, and group critique will occur at several milestones.
